Just a little information for you for your stay-
Please note, although we love children, we pride ourselves on being the perfect Adult getaway. We know how important it is for couples to have a place for a romantic quiet weekend away. Our rooms are set up for couples. (we do have 2 rooms that sleep 3) We do not have portable cribs etc... Want to come stay with children give us a call and we can see what we can arrange, we are more flexible on week night stays and in the off season.
Check in is between 3 and 7pm. We can make accommodations for you, just let us know at time of reservation if you need a special check in. Running late? just give us a call. If by chance you arrive while we are out, we will have your room keys on counter and directions to your room.
Breakfast is served from 8:30-9:30 in the dining room. For our early risers or for ones that may need to leave early, continental breakfast is available in the dining room earlier. Just come on in whenever you are ready. I will serve sit down entrees between 8:30 and 9:30. Coffee/tea/hot cocoa/bottled water, etc…. is available complimentary 24 hours a day at the coffee bar, located in the dining room. Some days sweet treats are available, just check out the buffet in the dining room and if you see something you like help yourself. If you have special dietary needs, please inform us as soon as possible and we will try to accommodate you the best we can.
Check out is by 11 AM
There is a guest fridge and Microwave available for your use in the dining area. If you have dinner leftovers, food etc.. that you are putting in fridge, just make sure to put your name or room number on it so someone doesn’t confuse it for theirs. Ice for drinka is in the freezer if needed. We also have plates, silverware, cups, cutting boards, knifes etc... for your convenience.
Please feel free to enjoy the dining room to play cards or games or relax in the sitting room on the main level. We also have a beautiful back porch and pool area for you, enjoy a cup of coffee or your bottle of wine and relax while you watch the hummingbirds.
We have free WIFI, but please note with the brick walls not all devices will pick up the signal in all rooms, we are working on a solution for this. But for now, if needed the router is in the dining room so you will get the best signal there.
We do have steps into our home and also to most of the rooms, so unfortuntely we are not wheelchair accessible.
Smoking is absolutely NOT permitted in the bed and
breakfast. An additional $400.00 cleaning fee will be charged if you smoke in
the home and you will be asked to leave, with no refund. Also please note we cannot accommodate pets at
this time.
No candles, incense or open flames are allowed in rooms
We provide bath salts for the whirlpool tubs, please do not use any other soaps in the tubs, so not to clog the jets.
In our warm months, we hope you can enjoy the pool, but please be aware we do not have a life guard. No children under 18 will be allowed in the pool without a parent present. No Children in the pool after 8pm, we reserve this time for adults. Please feel free to have beverages by the pool, we just ask that you do not bring glass bottles or glasses. We have plastic wine glasses, and cups available for your use.
We also have Movies,board games, magazines, and a firepit for your enjoyment.
We are a true bed and breakfast, and live on the premises. We do not have employees and we are happy to share our home with you. Come stay with us and enjoy a true B and B experience.
We consider ourselves a hidden gem in the colonies, you will notice we DO NOT have a sign in front our building. We love our home and love the private quiet getaway we have. Not having a sign helps us give you that experience also. We are located on V st between Die Heimat Event Center and the Troy Thomas Kitchen Art studio. Large brick building, entrance is the door on East side with the metal railing.
1 night room rental is required for deposit. Although we understand things arise, if a cancellation cannot be avoided please contact us as soon as possible.
